Frist reset the Bios setting and try install on XP.
Setps:
1. go to BIOS Setting
2. Restore Default Setting
3. Select First Boot Device is CD-ROM Drive
4.Save Satting
5.Reboot
6.Insert the XP CD
7. Start the installation.
(or)

Your lenovo3000n100 model notebook hardware is not support for XP.
So contact your customer care or service provider. aks to the solutions.

There are lots of variants of this laptop - today they only supply with Vista but the USED to supply with XP so my guess is that it IS compatible . . . http://www.tech.co.uk/computing/mobile-computing/notebooks-and-tablet-pcs/review/lenovo-3000-n100-wlt2
