How to not get a notice asking you to verify a delete

I have Windows XP Pro, SP2.
Every time I delete something, before the delete is complete, I get a little dialog
box asking me to verify the delete. Is there a way to not have this verification
step?

It sounds like you must be a novice user? You can, but I don't recommend it. You
may regret it sometime, when you change your mind and want to Undelete something.
Recycle bin - Properties "display delete confirmation diaglog." Rather than doing
that, you can bypass the Recycle Bin, by holding down the Shift key as you delete.
