Word Perfect keeps trying to install on boot

I recently bought a new Dell laptop. It came with Word Perfect Office 12 installed. I decided to go with the Microsoft Office Suite instead. I installed Microsoft Office and uninstalled the Word Perfect Office 12. Now when I start my computer the Windows Installer pops up and trys to reinstall Word perfect. Whe I uninstalled it originally I also went into the registry and deleted everything I saw that was related to Word Perfect. I also deleted the program files and folder in Control Panel. Whatelse should I do? Thanks.

1. Reinstall WP Office Suite from the supplied CD.

2. Restart twice.

3. Use Add or Remove Programs to uninstall WP Office Suite.

4. Restart.

5. Quit while you are ahead. Goofing around in the registry trying to exorcise
inconsequential fragments of WP Office Suite probably caused the problem in the first
place.

Would the Installer Cleanup Utility help for this? Worth a try.

You can download this utility here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe

So I tried the Windows Installer Cleanup utility and it didn't solve the problem. The Word Perfect program file folder has been deleted as well as all Corel related files since I don't use any Corel products. All related items in the registry have been deleted also. I no longer have the installation CD so I can'r reinstall it. What's next?

My Dell Inspiron 6000 also came with WP12. I don't use it but left it alone. Just used RegSeeker to search the registry and the word wordperfect appears 1355 times.

If I was trying to cleanup WordPerfect from my system I would use ERUNT to make a full registry backup then RegSeeker to find and then delete all registry entries that contained wordperfect.
