unable to get sound on ,loaded win XP Pro but no sound! been to device manager Audio showing yellow symbol tryed to update drivers but still no joy any one help

XP doesn't have many built in sound drivers. So after reinstalling XP, you usually need to install the Sound Drivers from the Manufacture.

Onboard sound or PCI card? What make/model (motherboard if onboard, PCI otherwise).
