I do as instructed . . . placing pattern page face down, press ener and it seems like the process is taking to long. "aligning, please wait" shows on the printer monitor, but it never stops appeaering even after 10 minutes or so. Please help. Thanks

This isn't an HP printer forum! In case you can't read.. this is a Windows XP forum.
