Error Updating to SP2

When I try to update to SP 2, I get a rather benial description telling me it failed,
not any details as to why. When I click on the icon I get this message:
Error Code: 0x80070017
Try to install the update again, or request help from one of the following resources.
Which is fine expect there are no details relevant regarding that error message.
Please help!

I had this trouble. It was caused by Spysweeper not allowing certain actions.Check
that no antivirus or antispyware program is running.

I also had exactly the same message, but different error code 0xD0000005. I had previously
closed spyware and antivirus programs in response to message in windows installer
- about half way through. Ended up doing an uninstall, not sure what to do now. Maybe
I'll try again

Try download and save, then install in safe mode.
