failed install, wont let me fix it

I was installing Panda anti-virus 2007, when suddenly I received an error message
stating that it couldn't access a file, then the installer crashed. I get an error
message when i try to uninstall it, and when i try to reinstall it, it says that
i already have a newer version, and that i must uninstall the existing copy if I
wish to replace it. I am all out of ideas of how to fix this. is there some way to
remove it from the installed programs list to allow the reinstall?

Panda support should be able to direct you through.

Sometimes the installer for a program has an uninstall option that you can select,
see if Panda does. If not, try the Microsoft
Installer Cleanup Utiulity.
