Question about 'Make one of those Keen DOS Startup Menus'

Actually, I want to get rid of one of those DOS menus. I recently formatted all my hard drives and attempted a clean install of XP. But I goofed and instead ended up with two versions of XP on my hard drives. I couldn't uninstall the older one, but I deleted it. (Yeah, I'm sure that's not the best way, but whatever.) So now I only have one copy of XP on my system, but when I boot up, I automatically get a DOS menu asking which version of Windows to boot to. One option doesn't work, but I still get the menu. There is no autoexec.bat that's causing it.

You need to edit your boot.ini file. Have a look here for more info :) http://vlaurie.com/computers2/Articles/bootini.htm
