i recently bought this software for research. i has a lot of stuff which i would like to copy and paste on another document of make a presentation. however, it does not let me copy...any sugessions on how to copy?

Seeing as you paid money for whatever it was (you didn't say), get the support you paid for from the supplier. There's no way we can advise you from the miniscule amount of information you've given :-(

Are you looking at a PDF? If so that is by design. I don't know of any way other than capturing sections as jpg, gif or bmp files.

Just FYI - If you use Adobe Reader there is a Text Select icon on the toolbar (its a T with a dotted little square) Click that and select/copy all the text you like (not pics or layout though, you have to fiddle around to get those).
