There IS a way to move the Windows XP Start Menu. You simply download a program called
'ShakeIt!', and tell the utility where you want the Start Button to go, and it'll
put it exactly where you want it. Doesn't work with the blue taskbar, though.

I have the same problem except there is a small menu with the "locked task bar" sign
that I cannot get rid of, so the info you sent did not help. any thoughts?

I'm clueless on what the problem is. If the taskbar seems broken, there is a tool
called Taskbar Repair Tool Plus. It will fix most problems
