Question about 'Customize Your Keyboard Mapping'

I have two keyboard layouts installed on my computer: (1)American English, and (2)foreign
language. I imported the foreign language keyboard by following the link "Control
Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages, etc." This foreign keyboard
is quite confused and needs to be reorganized. However, I do not want the change
to affect my English-language keyboard. Can anyone help?
