Question about 'Stop Windows from asking if you want to send a report to Microsoft whenever a program crashes'

Sending the error data to Microsoft has helped me a few times when my problem matched one in Microsoft's database, and I was informed to update certain drivers. Therefore, I use the option to prevent specific programs from generating error messages, because those programs occassionally lock up and don't have known fixes. Otherwise, I leave the error option on for other software.

What is this post in reference to? As it stands, it's useless and makes no sense.
