hello,
I have windows xp.
Am running AVG anti-virus, super anti-spyware and ad aware.
My Avg scan detected a dropper.small virus which it could not heal succesfully.
Does anyone know of a free anti-virus program that can rid me of this, or any other
solution.
thanks guys,
Dan

I believe that AdAware free Personal Edition (from Lavasoft) run in Safe mode will
clear this up.

Its AdAware that you need to run in Safe mode. I couldn't work out from the list
you gave what "Ad Aware" is that you have. You need the free app from Lavasoft -
here's the link in case you need it:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
As for running in Safe Mode, read this. You'll know when you you are in genuine safe
mode as the words "safe mode" will show at each corner of your screen.

Although the screen resolution will make things look funny, just use your PC as normal
to run an AdAware scan. Reboot in the usualy way when you have finished.
PS1 You may as well do a full AVG scan whilst you are in Safe Mode - it may be more
able to delete unwanted stuff.
PS2 I am not sure what a "dude" is, but I'm sure I'm not one :-)
