Trojan Horse removal

My computer recently got a trojan horse on it and I can't seem to get it removed.
I've tried Spybot seach and destroy and my anti-virus (avg anti-virus) and hijackthis.
TagASaurus keeps comeing up in spybot. I'm still getting pop-up ads. namisearch.com
comes up some times. What programs can I use to get rid of any trojan horses that
are on my computer?

Try avast! antivirus, install it and schedule a boot time scan once you've updated
the virus definitions. This will tell it to scan your computer before windows is
completely loaded, it should get rid of your pesky Trojan since it didn't have a
chance to load into memory.
It's a freeware program (have to register for a 14 month key but it's free.) It's
all i've been using since my subscription with Norton ran out. I've been nothing
but pleased with it. But disable the sounds in it in the options menu unless you
like having the living crap scared out of you every time it updates/finds suspicious
programs
Give it a try and lemme know how it goes.

PS. You could also try Clamwin, it doesn't have real time virus monitoring like avast
does, but if avast cant find it give it a try.

According to what I find doing a search, this infection will take several apps and
a number of steps to clean up.
You need to register and post on a malware support forum for expert advice. They
specialize in this sort of thing. First, follow the preliminary cleaning steps on
any one of these forums.

I think I finally got rid of all the trojan horses and viruses on my system. The
anti-virus program that was mentioned in a reply didn't catch everything, but a program
called Spyware Doctor did. Spyware Doctor found almost 300 stuff I needed to deleted.

Spyware Doctor may have cleaned up most of the infection, but examples I came across
indicates this will take various apps and a number of steps to completely clean your
system.
Even the best anti-malware can't get it all, most of the time anymore. Of course,
every cases is different. I'd still go through one of those cleaning rituals, even
though everything seems normal.
