how to change IE icon

I'd like to change the IE icon to suit my OCD for putting effort into meaningless
things.
Can anyone help me? I already have the Icon I want to use saved as an icon and as
a bitmap, I also have resource hacker.

First of all go to Start.
At the top you will see IE, drag this icon to the desktop so as to make a shortcut.
Right-click on this IE shortcut and go to properties..
In the shortcut tab you will see Change Icon, click this and from there you can browse
to where you saved the icon you want to use.
When you've done, just delete the IE icon on the desktop that you no longer wish
to use.
Job done, hope that helps.

Raul, I don't know whether you are very familiar with resource hacker, but if
not, I'd recommend that you use Debs method. I know that its quick and simple,
so to satisfy the OCD, rearrange your underwear drawer - its unlikely to cause
any problems. ;-)
