Vista is still pretty Buggy. I had Vista installed on a computer but had to many
problems to sort out, and reinstalled XP. Give it a couple years, and maybe it will
work.

Old game, new operating system, incompatible. It's one of the primary reasons many
people are deleting Vista and installing XP.
You need to check any software you purchase, game or not, to see if it's compatible
with Vista.

Windows XP Professional is WAY BETTER than Windows XP Home Edition, in many ways
I can't yet mention all at once, just don't get xp home because its less efficient
than Windows XP Professional, trust me, only the most stupidest people (at computers)
would use XP Home.

More realistically if you have a computer that won't support the extra memory that
XP Pro requires (>512M if you want to run quickly), and you don't need the networking
and Remote Access features that come with Pro, you should save your money and get
Home Edition. And I've been stupidly working with computers since 1986. :)
