Services Running and MSCONFIG

Hi ya. I've got a couple of questions about some services running on my comp. These
are:
Zune Bus Enumerator
Zune Network Sharing Service
(both related to Microsoft's "Zune")
Ad-Aware 2007 Service
(related to "Ad-Aware 2007")
Apple Mobile Device
iPod Service
(both related to Apple's "iPod")
Question: Is it absolutely necessary to have any of the above running as a Service,
or is it safe to change all of the above to the "Manual" setting?
In MSCONFIG:
ZuneLauncher.exe
iTunesHelper.exe
Question: Can I stop both of the above from running at Start-Up?
I hate to have anything starting-up with my computer that's not necessary. I'm also
one to turn off or turn to manual any truly unnecessary Services. I'm sick of resource
hogs and just want to be sure it's "safe" to do any of the above before I do it.
Thanks for any and all replies!

Regarding those Services you listed, they should all still load in manual when you
need them. You can change any of those back, if you need to. Those other apps can
be removed from startup.

You should experiment on your own for something like this. Turn it off and see what
happens.
