I cannot send mail, only receive and have not changed my settings. I use Outlook 6 to handle my mail account, since I have Yahoo Mail Plus and have always acessed my Yahoo account through there. My broadband connection is wireless through NetGear. All of a sudden I can only receive messages , not send them. The error message I get is "The connection to the server has failed. Account:"Yahoo", Server:"smtp.mail.yahoo.com", Protocol, SMTP, Port 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error 10060,Error Number:0x800CCC0E".

Try going into Outlook and changing your SMTP port from 25 to 587 for your Yahoo
account.

Thanks for that Ari, it sends fine from that port for whatever reason, I don't know, since it's always read port 25. Paul
