Question about 'Things that slow down system bootup'

I have a question about Things
that slow down system bootup:
I recently had to manually uninstall Acrobat 7.0. It stopped working and 8.0 wouldn't
install because it couldn't perform an uninstall of 7.0. I followed Adobe's instructions
for a manual uninstall of Acrobat, and succesfully installed V8.0. Since then my
startup after logon is very very slow. I have Zonealarm Security suite and Spyware
doctor and both say that the system is clean of any viruses etc... I also regularly
use the registry cleaner that came with zonealarm.

If it is acrobat reader you are referring to then uninstall it download and use Foxit
Reader it is very very low overhead when compared to the adobe reader it opens ready
for use in fractions of a second unlike the adobe one

Yes it is Acrobat Reader I'm talking about, sorry I should have been a little clearer.
I will give Foxit a try. Thanks Sean
