Can't log into Windows XP 2

Okay, here is the problem:

1. All executable files in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Program Files are infected
by a virus, namely W32/Virut.

2. I quarantined all infected files with McAfee except cmd.exe, explorer.exe, spoolsv.exe,
winlogon.exe, user.exe, bootvrfy.exe, iexplore.exe, shutdown.exe, clipbrd.exe.

3. Then, when I log in to windows, it says "Loading your personal settings..." then
it says "Logging off". And its all deja vu all over again. Windows shows the log
on windows, I log in and then it will say again "Logging off".

Plz. help. I will wait for a reply. Also, I use Windows XP Professional, SP2.

The virus probably corrupted Windows beyond repair.
You can use the repair option available on the XP install disk but the virus will
still be there.
I highly suggest a clean install of XP.
