when trying to open IE7 i get the windows error message asking me to send or don't send..............but it shuts down either way. i recently downloaded a test version of IE8 which i think started the problem. i have since de installed IE8... and even de installed IE7 then re installed it, but problem still there so cannot open IE. previously the diagnostic tool connection would not open in IE either! seems like there is no way to fix thes IE problems!

When one likes to live on the bleeding edge using beta software that is not ready for release, they should have a backup/restore system to fall back on. System Restore is not one.

Why did you disregard the notice on the IE8 Beta download page that specifically states it's for developers to use for testing purposes ONLY and to NOT use it on a primary system? The only thing I can suggest at the moment is to remove IE8 Beta and IE7, then download IE6 again on top of itself and see if this works OK, then reinstall IE7 again.

Well, he really should skip the last step.

My experiences with IE make me very unhappy. v7 is unstable and crashes for no good reason. v6 at least tried to work for the most part. i use it only for sites that refuse to work with Firefox. Thankfully that list is shrinking but it is not zero thanks to Microsoft. You get what you get. Good luck.
