My internet connection was working fine on both computers--one is an xp and the other
is a 98--and I decided to finally get rid of the 98 and was trying to move files
over a network. I couldn't get that to work and when I tried to connect to internet
on the xp, it didn't work. The 98 can still connect to internet.
Information: DSL
Connection Both computers are connected to DSL connection through wired router.
XP
Network Connections Folder 1394 Connection 2 (1394 Net Adapter 2) (I don't
think this one was there before) Local Area Connection (NVIDIA nForce Networking
Controller) Local Area Connection - Bluetooth (Disabled) (Never used it) 1394
Connection (1394 Net Adapter) Local Area Connection - Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection
(Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Adapter) (Haven't had any problems with this, except when I first
got it. Can only be used with Nintendo DS or Wii.
If anyone needs more information,
you'll have to tell me where to find it. I don't know that much about networking.

Problem has been fixed.
Changed Local Area Connection TCP/IP settings to obtain IP automatically.
Thank you.
