Outlook Express Spell Check Font Size

I am not sure if this an XP or Outlook Express issue
A friend's Outlook Express Spell Check window (the one that comes up "automatically"
when you Send an email with spell check activated) has an enormous font size, probably
around 24pt (?) and therefore nothing fits in the relevant boxes and it is near impossible
to read! The Spell Check window can't be resized so how do you reduce the font
size within the window? Font sizes are fine in all other aspects of Outlook Express
and in all other programs. I have tried playing with settings in Appearance (display
properties) with no success. Any ideas?

I don't exactly. One of those issues that needs "screwing around time" with settings.
Whenever somebody has a OE issue I can't figure out quickly I just convert them to
Thunderbird or another alternative. Possible Workaround, not a fix.

Thanks for the response Have to stay with Outlook Express for reasons I won't bore
you with! Will check to see if problem is common to Word ie it may be an Office
problem (?) - I suspect not...Otherwise I think a repair/reinstall of Outlook Express
may be the next best trial Thanks again

Have found the solution: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/265171/en-us Only
problem with this is that icon fonts are then a bit small for someone, ie my friend, with
poor eyesight!
