Several days ago I installed SP3. Before that, whenI was connected to the Internet, there was the image of a small computer in the task bar. Also there was a sign that Skipe is connected. Now, neither of these is present in the task bar. Can one change that? Thanks

Thank you Steve. I did as you suggested. The two computers icon appeared (the local area connection). But, there is no red X on them like before indicating that the cable is disconnected. And the single computer icon, which is the wirelless connection, did not appear at all, even though I am connected through it. Also the Skype iicon did not apear even though it is activated. Anyway, thanks.

Well the install of SP3 probably changed some things then. Since SP3 is so new not much is posted about bad side effects, so keep searching the internet. You might run across a fix.
