reformatted and didnt put antivirus on right away so got an infection, it was a ocuple,
that zlob!gen.3 one, then some crap program system defender and joke.blusod, anyways
so ok i put norton on and it says it removed it, which i think it did but like i
said i now cannot see my main drive! so does anyone know of any setting or something
that may of been disabled or something, cuz im at a loss. ive tried lookin in that
administrative tools thing, cuz i swore there was some thing in it that lets u like
mess with all kinds of hidden settings but i cant find squat, i am really frustrated
here, i hope someone can and will help. thanks in advance! Jenny

You said you just reformatted but didn't put AV protection on right away... why not
just reformat and reinstall XP?

I agree that it's a pain if but you had no AV protection at all then you can never
guarantee that the machine will be completely clean. That and the fact that it's
only been a week since you installed, I'd just reformat then throw on AV protection.
It's the price for peace of mind ;) Again, just my opinion. Good luck and let us
know how everything goes.

Right click on "my computer" icon, choose manage then storage then disk management.
What does it show for your drive scheme? If C: is inactive, activate it...
