Merging two disks

I would like to merge two disks into one:
Disk0 - 4.99Gb free (drive not yet allocated)
Disk1 - 98Mb free (FAT32)
(Disk Manager)
So far I've tried using Partition Magic 8 but it does not allow merging of two separate
disks.
Has anyone encountered similar problems?
Jon

Here is the longer anser.
In Windows we do not merge drives unless there is a great need. {In Linux it is just
normal part of the system, but we are here talking Windows.} In Windows we merge
drives that have the proper harware. I assume you were looking for a software solution.
For commercail users of Windows RAID-5 is the choice for high capacity, economy and
reliability. You buy six identical drives and install five and get a net yield of
four. {You need a spare that is a perfect equal to the others, so you buy them together.}
Here is a link from Microsfot Tech Net:

Maybe you want a "dynamic disk". I never used this. It's available on XP Pro
but not on XP Home.

The link you give doesn't work.
I can guess what it says though. I probably shouldn't have suggested dynamic disks
to the original poster. I've never used it because it sounds complicated and would
be trouble if a drive got sick.

Yes, you are very right on. That is basically what it says. Here is the valid link:
