There are other options such as Log Off, Restart, Stand By, Hibernate. Usually the default setting will be the last action you took. So if you did a Restart recently it is probably still on Restart. If the default system failure option was set, it does an automatic restart. I suggest you disable this automatic restart. Right click on My Computer. Click Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery Settings. Uncheck the box for "Automatically restart".
