That's really dumb, and pointless. The idea is to get RID of the file; if you are creating another useless file in it's place then DOING SO SERVES NO PURPOSE! Jesus...

the idea is that you can hide the file and not have that poorly placed Pictures folder that programs could direct the pics they save to.
