i just rec'd. a ch flightstick pro for christmas but it's an analog db15 pin connector.will
it work using a simple db15 to usb adapteron mu usb windows xp system?
the sim i received also is called flight gear and came with no doc. so i don't even
know if it will run on xp?
any ideas out there?

how old is the game?
Anything made this side of the millenium should run on XP just fine.

Drivers have to recognize that an adaptor or conversion is being done in some instances.
I don't think it will work IME and if it does, I would go out and buy a lottery
ticket real quick! You should have a winner. Some adaption will work, most will
not on specific applications..
Usually if an adaptor does work with any amount of total success, it will have a
companion driver so that emulation/adaptation/conversion takes place properly. In
other words, all the hardware and the operating system can communicate and understand
each other through software. Problems such as this have been posted here before.
As for the game working, we can't gaurantee that unless we knew the game which is
outside the scope of this forum.

Yes there are several places to get one. I just ordered one through Ebay. I have
an older set of CH Rudder pedals that are db15 only. I will post back with the outcome.
XP did not originally support gameport devices. These adapters are a result.
