Hi Alan!
I use WMP 10.0 With this version, you open the player, choose Tool, Options, Privacy
(Tab), Clear Caches, Clear History.
See if that works. Best to you.......Lee

Hello Lee, thanks for the response!! I found the options you spoke about and will
give that a try. WMP is still showing NO LENGTH for the movies but the PS3 did play
it. So I will do some more testing, maybe this fixes it.
To give you some more background, the issue is this:
I use MCE to record tv shows. Then I use some freeware called autodvrconvert to
convert the DVR-MS files to MPG files so that the PS3 can read them. And I use WMP
Sharing to "Stream" to the PS3.
Everything works EXCEPT newly converted files are picked up by WMP and show up on
the PS3, but they will ONLY play for about 20 seconds then they stop. WMP thinks
they are only that long but they are really full length.
Using your solution has the files showing up with no length in WMP, BUT the PS3 is
playing them so I don't care about what WMP is showing as long as they play.
If you have any other ideas in this area let me know and I will try and do some more
testing and keep you posted.
Thanks
Alan

Glad to have helped Alan!
I don't have too much more to add because I've only played regular internet movies
on my WMP 10. I play a fair amount of YouTube stuff, mainly to do with Yamaha and
Roland keyboard demos, since I am a professional musician. Perhaps someone else
will chime in. Best of luck.....Lee
