Weird Desktop behaviour?

Does any one have an idea of why my system sometimes thinks that i have my shift/alt/ctrl
keys held down on my keyboard when im moving icons around on my desktop? An example
of this might be, I move a file on my desktop and it creates short cuts to the file
I'm moving instead of moving it. Or when i double click a file it opens the file
properties instead. Also another weird thing it's doing is I can't seem to type the
letter 'v' on my desktop (like when renaming files) sometimes it does it with 's'
as well. I have to tap on my shift/alt/ctrl keys a few times before my system goes
back to normal. Another thing my system does is when I'm trying to drag n drop a
file from one folder to another, when i get to the edge of the folder the file sort
of hangs at the edge of the folder no matter how far I move my mouse. I usually have
to let go and do it again before I can get the file to go out side the window edge.
Strange. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated!
Oh and yes, I have checked my system for viruses/spyware, etc and the like with several
different programs. My system is clean =/, good mouse batteries too, keyboard is
wired type.

Get rid of the wireless mouse.
Google "wireless mouse keyboard problem"
There well over a thousand cases where the wireless mouse interferes with the keyboard.

Kill the mouse. The keyboard does not tolerate the radiation from the mouse. The
keyboard design was tested long before microwave mice became available.

Hmm.... I will have to give that a try, i sure hate to give up my wireless mouse
though >.<; only problem is I only have one PS/2 port on my computer, its one of
those newer motherboards that will accept either a mouse or keyboard on the port.
and the only corded mouse i have is ps/2. No USB Keyboard. Only USB input device
i have is my wireless mouse. Any other suggestions I could try?
