My internet was going slow (was using opera) so i logged out of my computer account then back in and now my taskbar is gone on my account my kids and my husbands i can't get start menu or time or anything i need help

That's a symptom of Malware, but there are other explanations. Try the simple diagnostic steps first: Can you get to the boot menu (press F8 whilst booting up) ? If you can, choose "Last Known Good Configuration". If that doesn't work, try Safe Mode. Post back with details of what happened.

Go to bottom your screen and see if you get a updown arrow if so hold the left button down on your mouse and drag it up.

More to it if it is gone in all the User accounts. I agree probably Virus related.

U are using Windows XP, right? Then try System Restore 2 see if the system goes back to a previous status. Go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore; then choose a previous date 4 a restore point. There is one snag here and that is if Opera works with the Restore Restore. Best of luck!

Typing error: I meant to write--There is one snag here and that is if Opera works with System Restore not Restore Restore. Thanks.
