I want to reformat my hard drive to reinstall XP Home SP2, but everytime I reboot, I immediately am taken to Windows booting up, but not stopping where I can start the process. Should I press DEL, F8, or what to get this done? Thanks.

You have to enter BIOS and set your DVD/CD Drive as the first boot option. If we
knew what system you have, we might be able to give you more help on how to do this.

You can use the XP install cd to reformat your hard drive and reinstall XP. Just
follow the prompts to delete existing partition, then repartition and then it will
format the drive and install XP.
