Where is the registry entry for "Printing Preference" stored in Windows OS. When you select, right click a printer, then the "Printing Preference" tab is seen and that contains the printing defaults locally

It will be somewhere in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers I say "somewhere" because each manufacturer codes the binary sub-key values differently and I don't suppose they release their code structure. You could note the sub-key values, make changes, then see what happens but that might take you forever ! What are you trying to achieve ?

Why not go to "Printers" under Control Panel and select a printer for preference.
It's a heck of a lot easier than playing hide and go seek in the registry- lot less
to muck up

Quite so - that's why I asked what he's trying to achieve :-)
