Is there a routine way to search only for folder names,
not for folder & file names ?
Thanks, St Jack

I am getting old... I couldn't come up with the answer this morning.
I knew there was some way to do it in DOS, never realized that I had answered the
question before.

I am older still, so I had filed away your answer as forgetting it is a certainty
for me !
Some 3rd party search products can do this - for myself I just use Windows Search
and click on the Name column heading - whereupon all the folders that meet the search
criteria are listed at the top. I can't see any circumstances where this simple trick
isn't sufficient, but what do I know ?

Well I almost never use Explorer as a file manager, as far as I'm concerned M$ has
NEVER designed a useful file manager. And I certainly wouldn't bother using DOS for
doing anything with files except as a last resort.
