There's NO such option in the "view" menu, nor anywhere else in the explorer bar, so I only screwed all of my internet icons by deleting the regedit key !!!

Start your story again at the beginning, please :-) What were you trying to achieve ? What exactly did you do ? What exactly happened ? Did you back up your Registry before starting ? Have you tried a System Restore to a time before you made the changes ?

You should have referenced the article that guided you, but I did manage to find

First don't make the common mistake of confusing Internet Explorer with Explorer.

You should also know enough about Explorer, that the File Types tab is found under 
Tools, Folder Options, since you don't, then you shouldn't be attempting hacks such 
as this.

You should have read all of the posts regarding this procedure, and perhaps you would 
have understood that all it accomplishes is changing the icon for IE, not individual 
web pages as so many expected.

I suspect you really want the specific url icons to persist... if so, Google favicons 
and read.
