Hi, I am trying to install windows xp on my system it has already windows xp vista
and fedoa 9 install. but my xp is going very slowly so i decided to clean installation
of xp for that i put the cd in cdrom and try to boot it, option come boot from cd
press any key to continue
i press enter then it shows windows inspecting hardware configuration and a black
screen appear after it nothing happens , more then 20 min i see it black i restart
my pc from power button and try again again it happens, then i try booting from windows
98, 2000 and vista they are booting properly only windows xp creating the problem
i tried with different cds but the result is same.
please tell me the solution

Find a valid XP CD .

this is not a solution my dear, I am also working as a assistant system engineer
so i know these basic things.. its something, which is unknown... CD is appropriate,
i booted my friend computer with that, i changed my cdrom also. Its not a problem
of CD ROM and cd its something else

Try wiping the xp volume with the 2k cd.
