You'll know soon enough if you need .Net, then you can simply rename/ restore .Net to it' former glory. Give it some time and delete when you're satisfied that you do not need them. It sucks to have to find them, download and install them when you find you need them. You can find out which programs use them by renaming the .Net framework to .NetXX.old. When the program tries to run it will give you an error message indicating which .Net version is needed.
