Just wondering if an update was snuck into Google Chrome? When browsing to the DotNetAssistantExtenstion folder in the above directions, I notice there is a "Chrome" folder and a chrome.manifest file.

I would be more concerned about what personal information Chrome collects and phones home.

That may have nothing to do with Google's Chrome browser. In my Firefox profile dir, under extensions, each ext. has a chrome subfolder with a chrome.manifest file.

Hi Glenn

?This may help to explain "chrome"

"chrome" [as distinct from the browser Google Chrome] is also a term used by browser
software designers - apparently it refers to "all of the UI outside of the page"

So, I guess the term "chrome" could occur in any browser?

David
