The first thing is to try another keyboard, if you have or can borrow one. This will determine whether the fault lies in the keyboard itself or elsewhere. You can connect a PS2 keyboard to the back of the LT and use it to see if it's the keyboard or the Software. Also try uninstalling the Keyboard in Device Manager then reboot. windows will detect the KB and reinstall the files for it.
