with this same laptop, it gets hot after being used awhile and in an earlier inquiry
it was suggested we make sure it is vented properly, which it is, but it still runs
hot, to the point where it freezes and cannot be used until it cools off. any other
suggestions? Thank you again.

Heavy use with a lot of processor activity (for whatever reason) will cause more
heat, and depending on the ambient tempature it might not be able to cool effectively.
You need to address your concerns to the manufacturer since from a forum, we can't
see the running conditions etc. If it is a year or two old, has it been disassembled
and properly cleaned out? Not just blown out from the outside, as that doesn't remove
the dust, just clogs it up more in the long run.
