I used to have a + or - to be able to make the text larger. It has disappeared though. How could I get it back?

Not IE <= 6.

Other browsers will also zoom the page with Ctrl-mousewheel.

However, the poster did not specify any application and it may not
be a browser. He appeared to refer to + and - signs in particular
software, though his question was far too vague for anyone to
give a definitive answer.
