C: drive partition only has 1 GB, help?

So my friend just re-installed XP on here. But now the hard drive is separated into
a C: and a D:. The D: has plenty of room, but the C: drive only has 1.46 GB and 0
Bytes free space. So I can't download anything, can't look at pictures or youtube
videos because it keeps giving the low disc space error. It's hard to download and
set everything to the D: drive since so many things are auto-C. So, what can I do
to give the C drive some more room? Thanks.

You'll need to re-install and pay more attention to the prompts next time. You may
have installed on a factory restore partition.

I had a quite similar problem because i installed windows on a 20 Gb partitiion and
after a few months it prooved not to be enough. I then tried to resize the partition
using some programs but i was close to loose all my data due to an error. So the
only solution is to reinstall windows on a partition with at least 50 GB.
