Just manually delete everything in it, there will be three files that you can't delete,
those are the only ones you need.

How are you determining that? If you see files in the folder, then you haven't deleted
them.
If there are only 3 files, then there shouldn't be 3Gb worth.

Oh, yeah... enable hidden files to be not hidden, it's under folder options.
Should be the default, but it's not.

So then obviously XP is reporting the incorrect disk usage. Don't see how this would
help, but I'd run chkdisk next.

Do you have a problem otherwise? If not I wouldn't.
If you used disk imaging, you could re-install with all apps in about 5 minutes,
you should look into that.
Another thing you can try is to redefine your temp folder to another, reboot, then
delete the entire old temp folder (may need to do this in safe mode, but probably
not).
Open System Properties, click on Environmental Variables, and change(edit) the value
for the TEMP and TMP variables to another folder. You'll have to reboot for it to
take effect.

Download and run CCleaner from http://www.filehippo.com. It's Free. If that does
not take care of it run it again in Safemode.

Also run whatever Anti Airus/Trojan/Malware removal Software you may have.

The file name gets nothing on google but could be Malware. Never hurts to run Anti
Malware scans.

You're welcome.
I'm surprised CCleaner wasn't in the first response.
