Question

Hi Im running XP home and after a update from microsoft I shut the computer down so the updates could install. Then a hour later I turned the computer back on and it will not start up. It brings me to the page that says .. has options one being .. Start windows with the last working configeration whereby the computer started. I chose that and it took me right back to there. The same happens when I chose safe mode or anyother option there. I have installed another XP to try and help my self and intend on deleting this when the other is fixed. What can I do please ?
