Question about 'Remove the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant (ClickOnce) Firefox Extension'

I have a question about Remove the Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant (ClickOnce) Firefox Extension:

I started the uninstall, but when I got to the step to go to 'about:config', I got lost. What is the 'filter' where I am to type in 'microsoftdotnet'? Please excuse my ignorance. I am a very casual user who tries to keep up with the increasingly complex task of just trying to stay safe on the internet.

Link shows how to use about.config. http://mozillalinks.org/wp/resources/how-to-guides/how-to-use-aboutconfig/

Though as a casual User I would suggest to just not worry about it.

After entering "about:config" there is a silly warning message, then after acknowledging
that, instead of an address box, there is a filter box.
