windows media player update

Well, I finally got around to letting Media Player update to #11. Big mistake! I
have one of the earliest iterations of Windows XP Pro, but now Microsoft wont validate
my OS anymore. Is there a way to get back my Media Player 9, which worked just fine?

I've always liked WMP10 and Winamp is great too. Acidspunk is the best plugin ever.

Hi George.
Yes you can easily get back to WMP 9. Just goto Control Panel - Add/Remove and uninstall
WMP 11. If you had WMP 10 installed before it will roll back to that version. If
you didn't then it will go back to WMP 9.

Thanks for the help Keith. I almost did delete the program, but I did not know it
would rollback to the earlier version, you were most helpful. Again, thanks!
