Hi Expert out there, How can i keep a track of how many copies have been registered on my name & when? Does MicroSoft officially provide any facility? I mean what are the chances some body in my circle is using my registered copy it for any laptop with only preinstalled DOS

Registration of XP isn't by user's name, it is by Product Key, and MS only allow one PC to be registered per key (there are exceptions but I doubt they apply to the issue you are talking about). If someone has managed to get hold of your Product key, when they try and register MS will know that it is already registered to another PC. Is this a theoretical question, or do you have a specific concern ?

It should also be noted that activation is not the same as registration, registration
with Microsoft is an optional thing.
