To fix your Documents back to the original Shared Documents, follow the steps below:

1. Open the Documents (Shared Documents) folder, then from Tools menu open the Folder
Options, check the Show hidden files and Folders, uncheck Hide protected operating
system files, then click OK. At this point, you now be able to see the Desktop.ini
file, if none you must create one and save it to this directory; or you may copy
any desktop.ini file and edit it.

2. The Desktop.ini file must look exactly below; you may copy and paste then save
the file.
[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@shell32.dll,-21785

3. Close all window explorer except this window.

4. From Start menu, open RUN and paste command -
cmd /c attrib +r "%allusersprofile%\documents"

5. Then click OK, problem solve.

Interesting, but I have no idea what the problem was ! Without that context, this is not helpful.

Probably deleted a Desktop.ini - they give those "special folders" some of their
special characteristics.
