Changing user identities

My computer is shared and we all have our own identities (mine is the administrator)
Every time we log off and log on again as a different user time is taken up by unloading
and then loading the firewall and antivirus programs. Is there a way of ensuring that
these essential programs remain loaded for all users and can simply remain in the
background?

1. You should never use the default Administrator account as a user account. If (when)
the account becomes corrupted you will be unable to fix the problem. The Admin account
is your backdoor for doing repairs.
2. Enable Fast User Switching. Use Help to see how.

When installing programs like that they should be installed in the All Users Program
menu, and then they would operate the way you want.

Thanks for the replies. I have set up fast user switching-at the moment it's ignoring
the command but I'll work on it!
